The Mystery Machine is one step closer to rolling onto Netflix.
Scooby-Doo: Origins has officially wrapped production, with the live-action series headed our way in 2027. New behind-the-scenes photos also give us another look at McKenna Grace as Daphne and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred.
And yeah, I’m curious.
Do we need an origin story explaining how a group of teenagers got into the business of pulling masks off disgruntled real estate developers? Probably not. But give me a fun mystery, a cast with some actual chemistry, and a Scooby who looks like he belongs in the same scene as everyone else, and I’ll give it a shot.
Just remember, Netflix: the talking dog and the guy looking for snacks are a pretty important part of the operation.
