Apparently surviving Love Island and The Traitors wasn’t enough—now Rob Rausch and Maura Higgins are heading into the jungle.
The reality TV favorites are returning to television as hosts of a new Peacock competition series currently titled Get Me Out of Here, which is expected to arrive sometime in 2027.
The show will drop celebrities into a “dense and unforgiving jungle,” but they won’t be going alone. Each celebrity must bring a non-famous friend or family member along for the adventure.
Because if you’re going to be miserable, hungry and covered in mosquito bites on national television, you might as well destroy a close personal relationship while you’re at it.
The teams will face a series of physical and psychological challenges designed to test their survival skills—and apparently determine whether their friendship can withstand sleep deprivation, terrifying wildlife and the sudden realization that being famous doesn’t mean shit when you’re stuck in the jungle.
The celebrities will also be stripped of their usual luxuries, assistants and VIP treatment.
No private trailers.
No room service.
No one bringing them a chilled bottle of water because the temperature went above 74 degrees.
Just celebrities, their increasingly irritated loved ones and an unforgiving jungle waiting to humiliate them.
Honestly, that sounds like pretty damn good television.
