Superman Review

James Gunn’s Superman is anything but super. As a matter of fact, it’s down right stupid. The writing is lazy, the movie is bereft of any character development, and I could have cared less about any of these people on screen.

There is no sense of wonder, or magic. Even when the titular score kicked in, I did not feel a thing.

Krypto is way over-used, and even when the cute dog was in peril, I still felt nothing because of lack-luster CGI.

Some of the plot developments were so dumb, I felt like it must be an inside joke that I was not in on.

This movie is getting great reviews, and I can only imagine that these people that LOVE this movie, must love over-the-top acting, ridiculous dialogue, and a Superman that get’s his ass kicked for 2 hours for no apparent reason other than that he just plain sucks.

Sorry James, but NOT MY SUPERMAN!
