JoJo Siwa Celebrates Pride in Rainbow Top, Hair Bow and Charitable Sneakers at ‘DWTS’ Rehearsal

JoJo Siwa broke out her brightest rainbow outfit during rehearsals this week.

The YouTube star headed to her “Dancing with the Stars” studio on Wednesday in a brightly colored outfit. She wore a striped rainbow button-up shirt left open with a sparkly holographic top underneath. She added black jogger pants as well as her signature oversized hair bow, which matched her rainbow top.

Listen… hear me.

I worked and still work with a strip club. I have known strippers and bartenders that have identified as gay (sorry, PAN). And I know parents that deal with daughters that identify as BI, PAN, or GAY. The problem wit this is… someone like JoJo is TOO YOUNG to identify as ANYTHING. I knew a 30 year old bartender who identified as a lesbian, who is now married to a MAN. Many woman choose to “go gay” after experiencing a bad experience with a man. Kate Chastian from “Below Deck” dated a woman for years, before switching and going “srickly dickly”.

Our society accepts a woman with a woman, and does not accept a man with a man. With social media, a person likes JoJo might want to be with another “girl” because it feels “safe”. As our current media portrays any person with a penis as a “predator” or “dangerous”. So no wonder this young girl might feel this way, especially that she is in the public eye.

ABC is now EXPLOITING this young woman to her expense. As a young woman, her sexuality is in flux. But now, poor JoJo has to be the LESBIAN poster child. LET HER LIVE and explore. She is too young to be some GAY icon. She is still growing, and evolving. LET HER BE.

Here’s why ‘Survivor’ host Jeff Probst will no longer say ‘Come on in guys’

“Survivor” host Jeff Probst said this week he will no longer greet players with the phrase “Come on in guys.”

On the longtime reality show’s season premiere on Wednesday, Probst asked players for their “guidance” on his use of the gendered phrase.

“For 20 years, I have used one phrase to call people in for challenges,” Probst said. “I love saying it. It’s part of the show. But I too want to be of the moment.”

“In the context of ‘Survivor,’ is a word like guys OK? Or is it time to retire that word?” he asked.

At first, the castaways agreed that they did not want Probst to change the phrase.

“I personally think guys is OK. ‘Come in guys’ is such a signature expression. I, as a woman, as a queer woman, do not feel excluded by guys,” Evvie Jagoda, a player on the show, said.

But later in the episode, another player, Ricard Foyé, told the host that he rethought his response and argued that Probst should not use the word “guys.”

“The reality is ‘Survivor’ has changed over the last 21 years, and those changes have allowed all of us, all of these brown people, Black people, Asian people, so many queer people, to be here simultaneously,” Foyé said.

Because during a pandemic, 675,000 Americans dead… we really need to worry about if the term “guys” is not inclusive? Okay Jeff. What I want you to to say is “Come on in guys, gals… sorry I meant “women”… and lesbians, gays, bi-sexual people, trans-people, queer people, POC people, African American people, European people, Asian people, … but the multiple people of Asia, including Chinese people, Korean people and Japanese people.”

Or you could just say “Come on in people!”

Or you could just say “Come on in guys!”

Marvel Sues to Prevent Losing Copyrights to ‘Avengers’ Characters

Marvel is suing to prevent losing copyrights to many key Avengers characters, including Spider-Man, Iron Man and Black Widow.

The comic book powerhouse filed five lawsuits on Friday that challenge multiple copyright termination notices that have been filed by the heirs of Marvel comics writers, seeking to reclaim the rights to the likes of Iron Man, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Falcon.

Marvel is arguing that since the characters were created under “work for hire” arrangements, the heirs have no valid claim to those copyrights. The suits were filed against Lawrence D. Lieber, Patrick S. Ditko, Michelle Hart-Rico and Buz Donato Rico III, and Keith A. Dettweiler.

“Since these were works made for hire and thus owned by Marvel, we filed these lawsuits to confirm that the termination notices are invalid and of no legal effect,” said Dan Petrocelli, Counsel to Marvel.

Patrick Ditko is the brother of Steve Ditko, who co-created Spider-Man and Dr. Strange.

On face value, this looks like the powerhouse Big Bad Company protecting their money and assets.

Now, before I go on, let me make this clear. IF MARVEL STUDIOS wanted to, they could have thrown some money at these people. HOWEVER, once you start throwing money at people, everyone then holds their hands out. In this case, the Big Bad Studio is in the right. These artists were PAID to draw comics. Their DREAM was to come up with a new character that would resonate with comic readers. They did not come up with characters or stories to become RICH if ONE DAY, they made a movie about it.

I have two stories for you, a comic creator and my own. Let’s start with the comic creator.

In the late 1980s, early 1990s, Todd McFarlane was a hit at Marvel. So much so, that Marvel gave him his OWN Spider-Man comic book, at the time, being the FOURTH Spider-Man comic book on the market. In 1992, McFarlane got tired of making MARVEL money, and decided he wanted to make his own. So, with a bunch of other artists from Marvel and DC, they left and started their own comic company called IMAGE.

Now Todd McFarlane KNEW that whatever he created for MARVEL, in the new character department, would be owned by MARVEL. This was not a secret, or a secret plan to bilk artists out of money. THIS IS STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE. So for the RELATIVES of these artists and creators to now expect money is LUDICROUS.

Now, on to my own story.

In 2004 I was hired by STARZ to create an animated series to play before every VOD purchase. The character was created by me and voiced by me. However, it was OWNED by STARZ. I got paid, but no residues would ever be paid to me OR MY RELATIVES in the future. I OF COURSE knew this going in.

The moral of the story? Make yourself a SUPERSTAR artist with Marvel and DC, then go off and start your own company, or COMPANIES. Todd McFarlane make BILLIONS doing it.

Sylvester Stallone And Frank Grillo Teaming Up For 80s Remake

It has been recently revealed that one of Stallone’s early films, Nighthawks, a beloved cult classic released back in 1981 and one of the grossly under-appreciated action films of the star’s career, is being revived as a limited series with Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Bruck Rumlow/Crossbones i.e., Grillo set to portray the lead character.

While plans of revisiting Nighthawks have been in the pipeline since 2019, it was only last year that Sylvester Stallone confirmed that the film is getting a remake in the form of a streaming series by Universal. And now, Frank Grillo has spilled more beans about the highly-anticipated show. There is an ongoing search for an actor to the late Rutger Hauer who played Wulgar the terrorist in the original film. Even though he will be leading the story this time, which will be a limited series, it doesn’t mean that Stallone is not in the picture anymore. Not only is Stallone directing the series, but at some point in the story, he will also be a part of the plot. Whether he is set to appear as DaSilva or some other character is yet to be disclosed.

I loved Nighthawks as a kid, and I’m excited that this will be a series, it will give Stallone as a director to further flesh out characters he knows so well.

Disney+ taps Bryce Dallas Howard to direct female-led ‘Flight of the Navigator’ reboot.

Disney Studios is developing a reimagining of its 1986 sci-fi live action feature Flight of the Navigator with a female lead, a project that Bryce Dallas Howard is attached to direct and produce for Disney+.

The original movie, starring Joey Cramer, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Veronica Cartwright, follows a boy who travels eight years into the future from 1978 and has an adventure with an intelligent, wisecracking alien ship, named Max. Paul Reubens provided the voice of Max in the film which was released in late July 1986 grossing an uninflated $18.6M at the domestic B.O.

Succession Finally Has a Season 3 Premiere Date

Succession season three finally has a premiere date, meaning we can finally launch that countdown clock we’ve been thinking about since the second season ended nearly two years ago. The critically acclaimed series will return on Sunday, Oct. 17, which is exactly two years and four days since we last laid eyes on the Roys. In other words, it’s about time.

Elizabeth Olson Wraps Doctor Strange 2 & The Boys Season 3 Wraps

No premiere date for the next installment of the Amazon series has been set, but cast members took to social media today to gleefully celebrate the production wrap of Season 3.

The third part of the series will tell the story of Vought’s first superhero, Soldier Boy (played by Jensen Ackles) and his Payback team, focusing on his WW II exploits and how we arrived to this point in the storyline.

Thanks to makeup artist Tricia Sawyer and a new Instagram post, we now know that the upcoming movie is finished with reshoots. Sawyer posted a photo of herself, hair stylist Karen Bartek, and Olsen in the makeup trailer, with the caption reading, “We’re not so ‘Strange’ anymore! That’s a wrap.”

Did Tom Holland spoil the crazy surprise in ‘Spider Man: No Way Home’?

It was back in mid-June 2019 that Holland might’ve confirmed the big No Way Home multiverse secret. At the time, Holland and his costars were doing the press rounds for the Far From Home movie, which was just two weeks away.

The look on his face said it all.

Don’t worry Tom. This movie is the worst kept secret in Hollywood. Let’s all remember… the animation studio did it first.
